If you bank with RBC, you can have the bank teller do a direct transfer or log into your online banking, go to pay bills – Add RBC Customer Account – then transfer there.
Take photos of your draft/cheque and the RBC receipt when done, send them to your agent.
DO NOT drop off the draft/cheque in our head office.
Note:
If deposit is being done at another bank other than RBC in Canada, the transfer may be treated as a Wire Transfer and a handling fee of $17 will be applied from our end. You may also have to pay a fee to the remitting bank. Purchaser/Tenant should be aware of this and adjust the amount being transferred accordingly. – i.e. if your deposit is $5000, you should transfer $5017 to our trust account instead.

If the deposit amount exceeds your daily limit, make sure you arrange an alternative (multiple transfers etc.) to make sure the total amount can be received within the time set out in your agreement.
